This face-to-face course will be taking place in Dublin West Education Support Centre and is the second of a three-part series with Patrick Hunt on Biodiversity and Gardening in Schools.
October is the key month for planting vegetables in the school garden as these will then be ready for harvest before the summer holidays.
In this workshop, using the outdoor classroom of Dublin West Education Support Centre, we will be learning how to grow a selection of easy vegetables most suited to the school garden such as Broadbeans, Onions, Garlic and overwintering Brassicas such as kale and Brocolli.
This workshop will have a talk element and a practical element.
