This webinar will:
· Explore relevant Circulars related to SNAs
· Examine SNA allocation
· Familiarise teachers with the proposed 'School Inclusion Model'
· Examine the role of the SNA in relation to pupils, teachers & principal
· Look at collaborative planning of 'Pupil Personal Plan'
· Explore how to develop systems for SNA record keeping
· Examine effective strategies SNAs can use to support pupils
About the facilitator:
Dr Celia Walsh is a former SET, Primary Principal & Director of Waterford Teachers Centre. Her Doctoral research examined the leadership and management of providing SEN support in mainstream primary schools.
Her areas of educational interest include teacher professional networks, promoting inclusive models of SEN provision and developing effective school leadership.
