The Cookery Fundays face-to-face course is a fun, hands on workshop that will introduce you to simple, tasty recipes that you can do with a mainstream class, SET group or after school club.

  • The benefits of cooking in school are widespread and far reaching including enhancing wellbeing and encouraging healthy eating.
  • Cookery Fundays supports the new Primary Language Curriculum, Maths Curriculum and can be used to develop Science skills.
  • The benefits of baking for students with additional and complex needs have been highlighted by the NCSE.
  • Cookery Fundays can enhance Parental Involvement in children’s learning.
  • Cooking encourages and enables children’s Communication and Interactions with others.
