FRIENDS cluster session for teachers who have previously trained and possibly delivered either FRIENDS for Life and/or the FUN FRIENDS programmes.
***Please note that this is an in-person/face-to-face session***
The FRIENDS anxiety prevention and resilience programmes complement the SPHE Curriculum. More information can be found on: www.friendsresilience.org. Many teachers have requested a follow up session to see the programme updates and to improve their programme delivery skills.
The training will provide information on new developments on book revisions, resources, costs of books. Teachers will also share practice with colleagues who may have delivered the programme; discuss challenges and solutions
There is no cost for this follow up session, however, we cannot provide substitution cover and therefore local cover arrangements will apply to facilitate attendance in person.
Closing date for completion of the expression of interest form is Friday 3rd May 2024. All applications will be reviewed and NEPS will be in touch shortly to indicate if you have been allocated a place.
