25SUM05 SESE in Tallaght, West Dublin and Beyond

Tallaght and West Dublin are areas steeped in history and heritage with fascinating flora, fauna and geographical features. Teachers working locally need knowledge, tools and confidence to promote these elements of SESE in the classroom.
“SESE in Tallaght, West Dublin and Beyond” is a summer course which seeks to promote local resources, facilities and amenities for the teaching of history, geography and science. Participants will be equipped with the knowledge, skills development and resources to undertake a local approach to the teaching of these subjects.
Please note that much of the course will be based outdoors, with guided walks in the likes of Tallaght Village, the Hellfire Club, Bohernabreena / Glenasmole and the Dodder Valley.
APPROVED FOR EPV DAYS
