25SUM04 Literacy in the Junior Classroom

This face-to-face course will examine key priorities for supporting literacy development in the Junior Classroom. Aimed at teachers of Junior Infants, Senior Infants and 1st Class, this comprehensive course will explore the research into how children develop language and reading and writing skills. We will examine how this can be put into practice in the junior classroom to provide our early learners with high-quality literacy experiences. With playful approaches at the core, participants will be equipped with practical strategies for teaching language, reading and writing in their junior classrooms.

5. Writing

Before you finalise your booking please note: Where a participant has registered for more than one course, courses may only be completed consecutively rather than concurrently. All our summer courses are booked on the condition that the course fee is non-refundable. Course Fees are not transferrable to another teacher or course. Unfortunately, if you wish to cancel your place on one of our courses or you are unable to attend the course, we are not in a position to refund fees.
