SEVENTH NATIONAL FORUM ON

EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The Department of Education, Department of Further Education, Higher Education, Research Innovation and Science, and the Department of Children will host the Seventh Annual Conference on Education for Sustainable Development on December 2nd. The purpose of this event is to facilitate discourse on implementation of Ireland’s second National Strategy - ESD to 2030 and to showcase and celebrate exemplars of quality, excellence and innovation in Education for Sustainable Development across the Irish Education System. Two of the Key Priority Action Areas in this Strategy and its accompanying Implementation Plan (2022 – 2026) are Transforming School Environments and Building Capacities of Educators. We would therefore very much welcome the input and engagement of School Leaders at this event.
