23AUT47 CLIMATE & NATURE SUMMIT 23/24: GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP & ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION RESOURCE BOOKLET

23AUT47 CLIMATE & NATURE SUMMIT 23/24: GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP & ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION RESOURCE BOOKLET

We cannot normalise climate breakdown and its associated impacts nor should we accept biodiversity loss. This academic year, the Irish Schools Sustainability Network and collaborating partners are launching a series of workshops on key dates to help us to foster whole school Climate and Nature conversations throughout the year.

This is a fast changing landscape and it can be difficult to stay up to speed! As full time teachers we know that support is needed. We want to provide you with accessible, thought provoking, easy-to-use resources that will create spaces for meaningful conversations. In addition to our new workshops teachers can also use the fantastic resources from our Global Citizenship and Environmental Education Resource Booklet.

This webinar will;

  • Improve teachers' knowledge and confidence in climate and ecological literacy as well as global citizenship education.
  • Support teachers to get up to speed on what is a fast changing landscape.
  • Embed the importance of teaching awareness and action.

Join this important webinar with Patrick Kirwan which is open to Primary and Post Primary School Leaders and teachers.
